Although I’m continuing to pursue upcoming shows both statewide and regionally (here’s looking at you PNW), I thought I’d share with you all where Stories Fading Fast will be visiting next.  This spring saw two exhibits – a preview show and a full show at Fairbanks’ Community Museum and Well Street Art Co., respectively, but I’m now branching out for the remainder of 2014 and 2015:

Beginning next month, Stories Fading Fast will begin its statewide tour at Soldotna’s Kenai River Brewing Company – a great non-traditional art space in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula.  This show will feature a small selection of work from the entire series and I’ll be on-hand for Q&A.

From there, you’ll be able to see the entire series on display at Alaska Pacific University’s ConocoPhillips Gallery in Anchorage.  This January show not only will showcase the entire set of images but you’ll also be able to catch local photographer and former Photo Editor of ADN, Richard Murphy, and his work in APU’s Gottstein Gallery at the same time.  I especially look forward to this show to catch up with a lot of Anchorage-based photographers I know and love – as well as local friends, family and fans – so be sure to come out for this!

Also in January is a Lower-48 group show at Illinois’ Millikin University, where I’ll be part of a group show of alternative photographers.  Although the list of featured photographers hasn’t been finalized, I know my work will be in the company of Jonah Calinawan (site), Johnny Power (site) and Maureen Delaney (site).  Although my hopes are to feature the work in more galleries throughout the country, this is your first chance to see it outside of Alaska!

Last but definitely not least – April will find me returning to the Kenai for a selected work show at Seward’s Resurrect Art.  Perhaps one of the most eclectic venues I’ve ever displayed my work at, I’m looking forward to sharing my work in this historical icon of downtown Seward.  I will be on-hand for any Q&A requests.
